The Drabblecast

I eat, even though I am not hungry. I do not crave tastes, but certain textures and consistencies. I devour licorice, beef jerky, things my teeth have to rip and tear. My teeth rip through my finger nails; tear through the surrounding skin and cuticles of my fingers. My wife tells me to stop biting my nails, I can not. My teeth are never satisfied. I glance at my wife sitting on the couch reading a book, head cocked to one side, the soft skin on her neck exposed. I can no longer suppress the urge. My teeth are hungry.
