It wasn't me, I didn't do it. In fact, the newer bluer boards are too much change, too much. My autism is flaring up, I'm desperately searching for the cached version somewhere. Oh god, long breaths, long breaths.

Kidding aside, I don't mind this phpBB upgrade. It's very clean. I'm going to see if we can't get the logo back in place. Anyone here freaking out facebook revamp style? Any petitions started?

I don't like it. It's more stuff for the sake of more stuff, which is generally bad design, but it's not a game-killer.

While I generally agree with the adage, "If it aint broke, don't fix it." I do think the PM button below the avatar might be handy.

And I think I can make good use of the advanced polling options.

I am sure I will have forgotten the old design in about 38 minutes time.

I miss the panel at the top which let me knwon when ROU has posted a new drabble. I guess that I will have to rely upon the law of probabilities ;)

Hmm.. It appears that a side effect of the skin change is that we can no longer upload/define avatar images. That's no good. Whoever it is that can do stuff about that needs to do something about that, as, due to user info now appearing on the right instead of the left side, my image is facing the wrong directions. And that just won't do.

Norm has I believe changed his password, so my ability to impersonate an admin is on ice. We need a hero!

One thing I see as a massive benefit - with the new look page top advertising only appears if you aren't logged in. Not that I had a huge aversion to needlessly sexualized online RPG characters or anything. But it cuts down on distraction.

The panel showing most recently updated threads was very useful. There also used to be a button for threads updated since last visit, although I'm thinking it's probably still around, and I just haven't found it.

The new boards look cluttered to me, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I think I'm going to start pressing buttons just to see what they do...

It's above the forums on the left instead of the right where it used ta be.

My shamless sell-promotion link is broken now though. :(

Oh, thanks, ROU. Found it. I wonder why it doesn't love your link. It's still displaying mine OK.

Upon reflection, this really has some nice features, but I miss the coiled tentacle. The soulless corporate-looking logo across the top needs to be replaced by something with more suction cups. Also less of the color blue.

It is evident that all female game characters are, literally, heartless, since the heart area is the only part of their bodies that is universally unarmored, obviously implying that there are no vital organs within. I therefore conclude that these chicks are, in fact, all Japanese robots, which would handily explain both their hyper-sexualized appearance and the fact that they are always in the act of killing something. Beware, horny young males! There may be more silicon in there than is immediately evident!

Ah, yes, the topic: Norm, fix the avatars!

They definitely expanded moderator options, I really want to get in to the back end. Maybe we can finally realize the dream of decluttering the topics!

Nominated for Quote of the Week. (however as a representative of American Association of Relic Pharts, I have to say that the word "young" is unnecessary and shows blatant age-ism...)

Unless I'm missing an obvious joke (probably) it always used to work on my browsers.

I've just gone generic anyway. At this point people are probably already aware of my presence on the drabble forum :P
