Zombie tag makes getting to class 'more interesting'

Postby tbaker2500 on Sat Nov 07, 2009 3:33 pm

From my local paper:
"Reid Scott darted into Stanley Coulter Hall, Nerf gun in hand, to avoid the mass of "zombies" swarming upon him Thursday.

A fellow human walks up to warn him that the building is surrounded at every exit. He has maintained his human status so far, but he seems to be trapped.

Scott was one of the more than 1,200 participants of Purdue's "humans versus zombies" campuswide game of tag."

You shoulda seen those suckers celebrate the day they saw the last of me. Damn faculty threw their hats in the air. Then they started sending me letters asking for money. I thought, "Or else what?"

This sort of preparation should come in very handy if there is ever an actual zombie outbreak...

Or it might just make things worse, as the "zombies" in this story probably don't have the same drive for brains that the real deal would have, and people might get the wrong idea about how hard it is to stop one of the really undead.

We used to play this in high school under a different name, but everyone was a spy/contract killer or something. You had to use a water gun/nerf pellets to get your target before someone got you. Anyone know? I'm pretty sure it was an actual RPG.

I work at a college. It lost it romance. It was that or Statistics 2 and the resulting panic attacks.
