Please do not vote twice! People who voted in the other poll can't vote on this one.

Anyone who does will be attacked be a giant water bug.

The Guilt Trader- Mike Hood
The rocking of the train soon lulled Patience into a deep sleep, and when Brian noticed her unconscious state he moved over opposite Eddie and asked, "So Eddie, what's in the bag? It has a rather unpleasant odor..."

MORTON

Postby strawman on Sat Jan 19, 2008 8:57 pm

Going through some old stories, I gave Morton (#17) a new listen. Not one of Norm's best, but the story was very strong as a comprehensive study of placing your imagination at the service of loathing. I found myself at points trying NOT to pay attention, Morton was creating such a bad taste in my brain.
Carvin stirs this cesspool to perfection, then in a twist that no one sees coming, gives the cesspool godlike control over the universe.

Obviously, Carvin's day job has inspired this story. By the time he gets his law degree, he will be a true danger to society. What a personal price to pay for the production of superior Drabble. The least we can do is nominate the story for which he has paid so high a price for the Golden Drabble Award.

I would like to nominate ep 16, I-81 by Luke Coddington. I don't care if he's on staff. :-)
