I'm guessing girlfriend. They don't seem to go for beards much.

Hey! No generalizing! This girlfriend is a big fan of No-Shave November!
It's unfortunate that some women can't appreciate a little facial hair every once in a while.

Nah, it was what I thought I wanted. It was over six inches and a bit difficult to maintain, but as soon as I made the first fatal cut, I knew I'd made a mistake.

My girlfriend hadn't seen me without it and was pretty shocked. I'd classify her as "pro-beard" in this case.

I can't. The only hair I can grow on my face are my eyebrows and I have become fond of them over the years. I accidently took half of one off in high school with one of those As seen on TV trimmers. I then had to proceed and take half of the other one off so I still looked symmetrical.

You Americans have No-Shave November?!? Wut, are you trying to save on shaving gear or somethin'? Aw... you are *that* poor now?

Can we help you girls and boys out with some razors? Over here in Europe we just started using those things and they are FUN! Makes your armpits and legs real smooth. Me like.

You're blowing away some preconceptions here, zZzacha. Or is the underarm birdnest movement only a French thing?

You're right on the mark, it's a typical French thing to do! O, and the Germans do it too. And let me not forget the Norwegians, Spanish, Italians, Belgians... Yeah, they all do it.
Of course, the Dutch are very sophisticated. And we love a good quarrel, too.

Yeah! And pink boots to boot!

And those tiny hands may come very... handy! Whenever I need something small that's stuck in another small thing.

Looking through iTunes, here's the podcasts that are on my A list

The Drabblecast
The History of Rome
Pseudopod
Escape Pod
Cthulhu Podcast
CrimeWAV
Astronomy Cast
Hidden Universe: NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope
Well Told Tales
Wily Writers Speculative Fiction
X Minus One Podcast

and one that I just discovered

The Dark Verse

I've also listened to Scott Siglers podiobooks. I think Contagious was his best. And How to Succeed in Evil is much fun.

Am I the only one here who listens to Tom Vs The Flash? this podcast brings a smile to my face every time I listen to it. Funny Quirky and filled with a level weirdness that only silver and bronze age comics could produce.

This is the first I've heard of it. I just added it to my podcatcher. I'll check it out Monday.

I've been listening to Greg Crites's Crusade today while I'm working in my shop. I've found it to be quite humorous, but I suspect that folks who are more religious than me might find it offense.

I tried Tom vs. The Flash but it didn't do anything for me. Oh well.

The Great Debate is pretty awesome so far. It's about role playing, but it's more amusing than informative. http://otherdoc.libsyn.com/
